President Obama goes to Oslo

He's still got a way to go in personal diplomacy, but you can't have everything. And the Norwegians did put President Obama in a very difficult position.

Kudos to Mr. Obama on his acceptance speech for the Nobel Peace Prize. This must have been an extraordinarily difficult speech for him to give, bearing in mind what the Norwegians and much of his base would rather have heard. He sounded more "human" than I've heard him sound in quite a while. He got good reviews:

President Obama displayed exceptional dignity and humility in accepting the Nobel Peace Prize yesterday in Oslo.

and some support from some surprising places.
